Located between Bury St Edmunds and Diss Stowmarket, Badwell Ash is relatively central in our region.
This site is a big pit, with surfaces ranging from soft sand through firm going to mud, which can be particularly slippery when wet.
Terrain varies from purpose dug holes, some water filled, to the sloping sides of the entire site. Apart from rocks and trees, there’s something for everyone at this site, including a nice flat area for parking and socialising, that is if the track to the site hasn’t become too rutted, which can make access for ‘normal’ cars tricky.
