South of Bishop's Stortford and somewhat out of our usual 'area of operations', Spellbrook is a new site to the club and consists of a large group of soil heaps.

Some are well consolidated, other fresher ones can present very 'loose' terrain with little traction.

In summer, the vegetation can make 'reading' the ground somewhat challenging and in winter we must avoid damaging the flatter grassed areas, which can restrict our use of the site.
